Decode Your Conditioning
Start with one pattern you recognise
Conditioning is the learning that shapes how we see a situation and respond to it. Some of that learning still helps us. Some may have become a rule we follow without stopping to ask whether it fits our lives now.
I wrote this eBook to help you find that pause. You can begin with an everyday moment, such as putting off a task or agreeing to something before you’ve considered what you need. We’ll look at what happens around it, without assuming that everyone responds that way for the same reason.
What you’ll explore
- How learned beliefs and expectations may influence your choices.
- The PEAR framework: Programming, Emotional State, Actions and Reality, and how these parts of an experience can connect.
- Questions to help you recognise one pattern and consider what else is involved, including your circumstances and other people’s actions.
- One small, safe next step, which might mean noticing, gathering information, asking for support or pausing.
The companion workbook gives you space to explore your own example. You can use the suggested starting route or return to a question when it feels useful. There’s no requirement to complete every exercise or revisit painful experiences.
Enter your details in the form above and I’ll email you links to both PDFs. I’ll also send a follow-up in a week’s time with a question to help you reflect and an invitation to explore further if you’d like to.
You don’t need to work out your whole life before you begin. One moment you recognise is enough to start asking what is happening and what might help.
These are resources for reflection. They don’t diagnose you or provide treatment, and some difficulties need appropriate professional support.
